As November rolls in, Mt. Pleasant and the surrounding areas are gearing up for a lively month of concerts, fundraisers, and holiday-themed celebrations. Get out your calendar and start saving the dates—this community is showing how to move from fall into festive with flair.

Rooftop Landing Holiday Season Begins
Weekends beginning Nov. 1, through Dec. 23 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Rooftop Landing Reindeer Farm in Clare
The holiday season kicks off at Clare’s Rooftop Landing Reindeer Farm in November. You can find real reindeer, holiday lights, Christmas music, and more holiday happenings fit for the whole family. Highlights featured at Rooftop Landing are photos with Santa Claus, candy cane making, highland cows, sloths, reindeer, and specially themed events. Camille’s Prime Mummies & Mimosas Brunch
Saturday Nov. 1 at 11 a.m.. at Camille’s Prime in downtown Mt. Pleasant
Join Camiile’s Prime for a Halloween themed brunch inclusive of four courses by Chef Steve and a spooky cocktail menu. Dress in your best Halloween costume and be entered for a change to win the costume contest. Tickets are $25 per person and reservations are required. Habitat for Humanity Live Auction
Saturday Nov. 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Little Flower Barn in Lake Isabella
Join Habitat for Humanity of Isabella County for their annual fundraiser and live auction on Nov. 1. The auction features one-of-a-kind pieces from local artists and community members. All proceeds from the auction are given to Habitat’s local mission in Isabella County. You can expect live music, heavy hors-d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a silent auction.

Jedi Mind Trip Halloween
Saturday Nov. 1 from 9 p.m. at Hunter’s Ale House in Mt. Pleasant
Jedi Mind Trip is back for a fall show at Hunter’s Ale House in Mt. Pleasant. There will be themed cocktails and hand-brewed beers on tap. Live music starts at 9 p.m. Hunter’s recommends attendees bring dancing shoes and an appetite for some great drinks and food for the evening’s Halloween festivities.

Central Michigan University School of Music’s Jazz Central Concert
Tuesday Nov. 4 from 7:30 p.m. at Staples Family Concert Hall on CMU’s Campus
The Central Michigan University School of Music is hosting an array of events and performances in November. Join them on Tuesday, Nov. 4 for the Jazz Central Concert, and check out all of the other dates in November to catch a performance. Events are free unless stated that tickets should be purchased at Ticket Central on campus.

Dine United
Thursday, Nov. 6 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hunter’s Ale House and Friday, Nov. 13 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Cabin
Looking for a way to give back in November? Dine at Hunter’s Ale House or The Cabin on one of these nights and 20% of total sales for the night are donated to United Way. Proceeds from Dine United will be shared among local nonprofits among Greater Central Michigan. These programs provide shelter, vital services, education and more among the community.
A Nature Shot Day with the Chippewa Valley Audubon Club
Wednesday Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Library in Mt. Pleasant

The Drowsy Chaperone at Bush Theatre
Wednesday, Nov. 12 to Sunday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. (2 p.m. Sunday) at CMU’s Bush Theatre
View a production of “The Drowsy Chaperone” with music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison based on the book by Bob Martin and Don McKeller. Art Reach of Mid Michigan’s Parade of Trees Daytime Event
Thursday, Nov. 13 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Little Flower Barn in Lake Isabella
Art Reach is hosting the Parade of Trees event for another year, with free activities and treats for the whole family. Visit the Little Flower Barn for decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, and other items from local artists and organizations.
