The City of Mt. Pleasant has welcomed a new director of planning and community development with experience working in New York City’s Department of City Planning. Manuela Powidayko was living in Mt. Pleasant while working remotely in that position, falling in love with our town. So much she decided not only to stay but put her talents towards positively impacting our city’s growth in her new role.
