What’s Happening: After a nine-month transformation of its interiors, Isabella Bank has officially reopened its main office at 139 E. Broadway Street in downtown Mt. Pleasant. The interior renovation was designed to “enhance the customer experience and reaffirm the Bank’s commitment to the community,” according to Isabella Bank.

What’s New: The redesigned interior layout consists of a modernized aesthetic, offering a welcoming, efficient space. The interiors complement the exterior renovations which took place last year, inclusive of new paint, signage, and a mural created by Sacred Heart Academy students (read more about the mural here).

What They’re Saying: “This renovation represents more than just a physical upgrade—it’s an investment in our customers and our community,” said Peggy Wheeler, Isabella Bank COO. “Every detail was designed with our customers in mind, ensuring that our main office is a place where relationships can grow and service can thrive. We’re excited to open our doors to this refreshed space and continue building a brighter future together.”

Who Was Involved: Isabella Bank partnered with Thompson-Phelan Group, Inc. of Anchorville, Michigan to bring this project to fruition. To minimize disruption and to remain open throughout construction, the project was completed in two phases.

How The Community is Celebrating: On Nov. 12, 2025, Isabella Bank joined the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of the grand reopening. Customers, community leaders, and Isabella Bank team members gathered for the occasion to celebrate the Bank’s ongoing investment in the region.
