Enterprise Tax Solutions expanding business and hiring employees, despite pandemic

Enterprise Tax Solutions has grown from an operation that started in Tina McCormick’s home to recently moving out of the CMURC into a 5,000 square-foot office space, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. To meet a growing need for their services and continue their expansion, the company is also hiring new talent.

After its founding in 1999, Enterprise Tax Solutions operated out of Tina McCormick’s home for several years; however, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the business recently outgrew its space at Central Michigan University Research Corporation (CMURC) and moved to a 5,000 square-foot office space located on Northway Drive, near Home Depot.

Moving just two weeks before the stay-at-home order went into effect, some may say that the transition couldn’t have happened at a worse time; however, McCormick, Founder and CEO of Enterprise Tax Solutions, says her employees adapted quickly to working remotely.

“We were here for two weeks, then we had to be gone for a couple of months… During the stay-at-home order, we were really proud of our employees,” she says.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has presented a multitude of challenges for many businesses, due to the nature of what Enterprise Tax Solutions does, their work continued. As stated on the business’s website, “Our focus is on techniques, tools and resources to make tax data more readily available.” Since 1999, the company has been consulting for large multi-national corporations.

The software that Enterprise Tax Solutions offers – such as eTaxAudit International and eTaxEcho – is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of big Fortune 200 clients, many of whom have continued to operate throughout the pandemic.

“Many of our customers were the ones providing the essential goods and services keeping America running,” says McCormick.

To keep up with increasing demand and as the business continues to break into new markets, Enterprise Tax Solutions is also hiring right now.

“We have jobs for accounting, tax, and information technology,” says McCormick.

New employees may have the opportunity to work in the brand new workspace. Along with traditional office spaces, the 5,000 square-foot space has an open-concept space to collaborate, an exercise room, and space for what McCormick calls “brain breaks” so employees can make sure they are taking care of themselves.
