Her Voice. Her Story.
Thursday, March 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mid Michigan College Mt. Pleasant Campus
The Zonta Club and R.I.S.E Advocacy are hosting three inspiring women from Mt. Pleasant to tell their stories and participate in an interactive Q&A panel. This event is in support of International Women’s Day and is free to attend, but those interested are asked to register in advance. Cookies and water to be provided for attendees. Bowties & Bourbon
Friday, March 6 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Bucks Run Golf Course in Mt. Pleasant
Join Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum for “The Most Delicious Fundraiser of the Year,” their 9th Annual Bowties & Bourbon Fundraiser Gala. Each ticket includes two drinks from the wet bar, unlimited samples of bourbon-inspired hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and a chance to win Best Bowtie. Boots Back at The Eight 2 Eight
Friday, March 6 from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Eight 2 Eight Rental Hall in Shepherd
Backyard Boots and Beats returns to The Eight 2 Eight for a night of line dancing fun where beginners are welcome. Participants can expect to learn four to six dances throughout the night. The cover is $10 and more information can be found on their Facebook page.

Home Builders Association of Central Michigan Home Show
Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Morey Courts Recreation Center in Mt. Pleasant
It’s time to start planning those home projects, and the Home Show has got you covered. Join vendors from flooring, windows, and roofing to mortgage lenders and real estate agents. Clare Irish Festival
Wednesday, March 11 through Saturday, March 14 in Downtown Clare
Clare is hosting their 51st Annual Irish Festival March 11 through 14 sponsored by MyMichigan Health and Clare Area Chamber of Commerce. Mid Michigan College’s College & Career Fair
Wednesday, March 11 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Harrison Campus (Concourse) and 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Campus (Community Room)
Mid Michigan College invites community members, high school students, and current college students to explore pathways in higher education and career options. Participants can expect to connect with industry professionals, learn about academic pathways, and much more. Register for a barcode at StriveFair.com in advance, and colleges will be able to scan participants’ barcodes to send them more information and personalized reports on the connections they made. Mt. Pleasant High School 2025 Musical: Shrek the Musical
Thursday, March 12 through Sunday, March 15 at 7 p.m. (2 p.m. Sunday) at Mt. Pleasant High School
Mt. Pleasant High School presents “Shrek the Musical” based on the DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture and book by William Stieg. Join familiar faces Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey on their feel-good adventure where they learn about friendship and being yourself. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door and cost $15. O’Kelly’s Sports Bar and Grille St. Patrick’s Day
Saturday, March 21 beginning at 9 a.m. through late evening at O’Kelly’s Sports Bar and Grille in Mt. Pleasant
Join the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at O’Kelly’s with live music, Irish-themed food and drinks, giveaways from sponsors, and other activities. Central Michigan University’s 37th Annual “Celebrating Life” Pow Wow
Saturday, March 21 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at John G. Kulhavi Events Center (McGuirk Arena) at CMU in Mt. Pleasant
Central Michigan University’s Office of Indigenous Affairs welcomes the community to the 37th Annual “Celebrating Life” Pow Wow. This event is hosted in partnership with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe as Central Michigan University continues to focus on their strong partnership. This event invites the community to come together, listen, learn and celebrate something meaningful. Admission is $10 at the door or online, updates will be posted on their website as details come.
