Couple reflects on over 30 years of volunteerism with Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival
Arnie and Merrie Hammel are two of the many volunteers who help run the Shepherd Sugar Bush Corporation. The couple has been involved with the festival in various capacities for over 30 years; and, they aren’t slowing down as they help prepare for this year’s festival, which will take place from Thursday, April 21-24.
