Rooftop Landing Holiday Season
Weekends beginning Nov. 1, through Dec. 23 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Rooftop Landing Reindeer Farm
The holiday season is in full swing at Rooftop Landing Reindeer Farm in Clare. You can find real reindeer, holiday lights, Christmas music, and much more fit for the whole family. Highlights featured at Rooftop Landing are photos with Santa Claus, candy cane making, highland cows, sloths, reindeer, and specially themed events. Mt. Pleasant Christmas Celebration
Saturday Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Downtown Mt. Pleasant
Mt. Pleasant’s most anticipated holiday event is happening Saturday Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. with events and activities for the whole family. The day begins with a fun run and 5K at 8 a.m. followed by pancakes with Santa, and ends with a lighted Christmas parade through downtown Mt. Pleasant. There are many more activities to enjoy—dive in for more information on all the happenings.

Holiday Wine Sale
Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 4:30 – 7 p.m. in Shifties Taproom at Summit Smokehouse
Join Camille’s Prime and Summit Smokehouse for their Holiday Wine Sale. The sale and tasting is hosted by Ernie Peters with Woodbury Wines, presenting over 20 bottles from around the globe to taste and purchase. Tasing will be guided by Ernie and the cost is $10. Chippewa Valley Audubon Club Sharing Night
Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Library
The Chippewa Valley Audubon Club is hosting club members sharing night. During this event members will present their favorite digital pictures, crafts, artwork and more from the natural world in 2025 or prior years. Refreshments will be served. Follow their Facebook page to learn more.

A Day of Magic & Mischief with Santa and Grinch
Saturday, Dec. 13 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum
Santa and Grinch are stopping at Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum along their holiday travels. You can get your photo taken with them, write your letter to Santa, decorate cookies, and enjoy hot cocoa. The event is sponsored by Isabella Community Credit Union and costs regular admission to the museum.

Ugly Sweater Party with Dueling Pianos
Saturday, Dec. 13 from 8 – 11 p.m. at Maple Creek Golf Course in Shepherd
Twilight Tunes is hosting a Christmas-themed dueling piano show at Maple Creek. There is a $10 cover charge at the door and the best ugly sweater wins a prize at the end. Come for a good time with friends, family, and others, and don’t forget to request a song.

Christmas Cookie Decorating Class
Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mid Michigan College Mt. Pleasant Campus
Redeemed Sweets is hosting a Christmas cookie decorating class for anyone from beginner to experienced decorators. Everything needed for the class will be provided, just bring a smile. Each decorator will get six cookies, four icing colors, and all of the required tools for the class. The class costs $65 per person and seats are limited. Find more information and buy tickets here.

Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum Kids Night Out
Thursday, Dec. 18 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum
The Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum is hosting Kids Night Out. If you need a night out or a night to relax before the holidays, this is the perfect night. From 5 – 8 p.m. drop your little ones off for parent free play at the museum. There will be games, crafts, and a pizza dinner provided. Kids ages four to 12 are invited. This event is for anyone who would like to be in bed before the ball drops on TV, and wants to experience it with little ones sooner. Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum is holding a balloon drop event at 12 p.m. for anyone to enjoy. Event price is regular admission to the museum.
