Pitch Competition invites community to bring fresh ideas for downtown spaces

For the first time ever, Downtown Mt. Pleasant is hosting a competitive pitch competition, and despite the name, this has nothing to do with baseball. The goal is to bring ideas to revitalize the area and enhance the vibrancy of the downtown district. The winning projects will be awarded over $15,000 in funding.

Last year, Kay’s Day, a Women’s Initiative social event, transformed into Kay’s Way, a women’s supply drive. This year, the drive continues, accepting donations of new, unopened women’s items from May 9-25.
